Tagalog Teachers Wanted (Australia Based)
The Filipino Saturday School is looking for more Tagalog teachers based in Australia to join our team and help deliver lessons online and in-person at our Rooty Hill venue.
Who we are looking for
We are especially interested in teachers who:
- Are currently teaching at an Australian Primary School or High School
- Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Can teach online (Zoom or Microsoft Teams) and face-to-face (Rooty Hill)
- Have solid experience creating and delivering lessons using PowerPoint
- Are confident using online teaching tools and managing a virtual classroom
- Are comfortable teaching and leading simple Tagalog songs (for example, children’s songs and classroom songs)
- Create a positive, welcoming learning environment(online and in person).
✅ Filipino international students are also welcome to apply, especially those currently studying Education or Linguistics at an Australian university.

We’re growing our teaching team to deliver consistent, high-quality Tagalog lessons online and in person at Rooty Hill, with plans to expand to other Sydney suburbs.
